NeuroPhysio Therapy

NeuroPhysio Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the body. The craniosacral system as well as organs generate their own rhythms, similar to but more subtle than the cardiovascular and respiratory rhythms. An imbalance or restriction in any of these rhythms could lead to dysfunction. NeuroPhysio Therapy involves the specific assessment of these multiple intrinsic movements in the body, followed by rebalancing treatment. This treatment encourages restoration of the body’s optimal rhythmic movement patterns, which can lead to better overall health and resistance of “dis-ease.”

NeuroPhysio Therapy can positively impact many systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and neurological, lymphatic and glymphatic, and vascular, and can help improve PTSD, depression and anxiety.

NeuroPhysio Therapy has been shown to be beneficial for people seeking help with a wide range of health challenges and symptoms including:

Who is NeuroPhysio Therapy for?

NeuroPhysio Therapy is so gentle that it is safe for people of all ages. In fact, it is often extremely helpful when other therapies are unsafe, such as after an operation, with fragile or acute conditions, and with pregnant women and babies. Babies tend to respond very well to NeuroPhysio Therapy, and it is terrific for infant challenges such as colic and sucking difficulties.  It can also help with stress and increase one’s sense of vitality and well-being.

How is NeuroPhysio Therapy Performed?

NeuroPhysio therapy is an extremely gentle therapy performed with a person fully clothed. Using a very light touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, the practitioner evaluates the rhythm of the craniosacral system and organs for potential restrictions and imbalances, then uses very light manual techniques to encourage release of problem areas, reduction of undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord, improved lymphatic and other fluid movements, and improved movement of organs and other tissues.

The goal, always:

For your body to be able to return to its greatest level of performance.
