Integrative Naturopathic Resident Physician
Dr. Ruth Dana, Reboot Center’s resident naturopathic physician, received her doctorate at Bastyr University, the premier institute for research-based naturopathic medicine, in San Diego, California. In addition to family medicine, her clinical studies focused on homeopathy, mental health, and neurological disorders.
Using the principles of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Ruth is passionate about creating an individualized treatment plan that treats the cause of one’s illness rather than just masking symptoms. Her expertise allows her to manage pharmaceutical medications safely alongside nutritional supplements and botanical medicine. She also uses classical homeopathy to stimulate the body to heal itself to get lasting results and reduce the need for medication.
In addition to her Reboot Center residency, Dr. Ruth is working to become a diplomate of functional neurology through the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (IAFNR).
Due to her activism within her profession and her commitment to equality, Dr. Ruth was nominated and accepted to serve on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the American Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (AANP). She welcomes diverse patients and provides a safe space for those who may otherwise feel marginalized.
Dr. Ruth is excited to start her post-graduate naturopathic medicine journey at Reboot Center, and looks forward to becoming part of the Whidbey Island community.
